Hello – I’m Russ, a Hull & East Yorkshire based wedding photographer at Russ Kemp Photography and owner of Russ Kemp Portraits
www.russkempportraits.com
Second only to spending time with friends and family, my time behind the camera is where I am happiest.
With over a decade’s experience in portrait photography, I have found an inequivocabile passion for capturing beauty in the moment and there is nothing more beautiful than a couple in love, on their wedding day. Despite being predominantly Hull based, I am willing to travel to capture weddings near, far and even Internationally.
Being trusted to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments is my absolute privilege and, a very personal and intimate experience for couples.
With every couple and wedding being totally unique, I believe that the photographs should capture the individual style of the wedding day and the couple themselves.
Which is why I like to spend time with you, the couple, prior to the wedding to build a comfortable familiarity and get a feel for who you are together and what you’d most like from your day. This not only alleviates anxiety for the big day but guarantees those lasting memories for you to enjoy forever!
I also offer additional photography services for couples (and families) prior to the wedding, whether it’s to play around with poses, practise those picture perfect smiles or just ease some nerves.
I love to photograph your wedding as it naturally unfolds, blending into the background to capture candid moments without interruption and intrusion. My aim is to tell the story throughout your day, from those intimate moments shared just between the happy couple to the reception and happily ever after…
